What People's Say About Place

Rating the restaurant in the following categories: Appearance, Service, Food, Experience Appearance: - The restaurant has this red/grey color theme from the walls to the tables to the floors. This is a great combination choice and it presented well throughout the restaurant; nice balance between warm and cool, intense but not distracting, relaxing but not dull. Service: - Great customer service. Our server was very attentive. He refilled our drinks when the glass was nearing empty, occasionally asked if there was anything our table needed (very important to me), provided clarification on any questions, very polite and hospitable. Food: - Appetizer: (1)Spinach Onion Bhaji, (2)Vindaloo Wings (very spicy!) - Entrees: (1)Chicken Tikka Masala, (2)Chicken Korma, (3) Lamb Laal Maas, (4)Lamba Kadai - Dessert: (1)Gulab Jamoon Everything was delicious. The wings were really spicy, yet it kept me wanting to eat more. I think the Bhaji was my favorite out of everything I ate. Entrees were all flavorful and each contained generous amounts of meat. The dessert is like donut balls; not too sweet, warm and Experience: - My dinner was more than fulfilling. What makes my experience memorable is stretching to try new dishes. I had a mix of foods I'm comfortable with and foods that are new to me. The misala helped me expand to trying out the korma, maas, and kadai. Not a single dish was a disappointment and a great addition to my Indian cuisine knowledge. There are plenty of other items on the menu that I would come back trying out. I'll also never forget the five piece Ganesh canvas print near the entrance; amazing art piece.

I was actually one of the first.customers at this lovely restaurant, the food was very tasty even my picker eater daughter enjoy her meal . The buffet was very nice, the restaurant was very clean well decorated. The customer service was prompt and tentative. They even gave me a free appetizer (second photo) was different from anything I've ever had, but it was pretty sweet to my surprise. I would recommend for good Indian food

One of the best Indian food restaurant I have ever had, if you count how inexpensive the meal was, the best. This place is only 6 days old to date and will have a grand opening on Monday with even more discounts lol. This is not the only Indian restaurant with a buffet, but it's the first one I had been where the host actually informed me what the dishes were. The food was of superb quality and had a very flavorful texture, but at the same time did not make me feel thirsty so the secret probably was not in the salt. The butter chicken was very spicy when I ate it but left no lingering spicy taste. The naan served fresh was amazing. Weekday lunch buffet is only 10 bucks, that really packs in the great taste with value. Quoting Terminator: "I'll be back."

I have to admit...they have a very decent food and it does seems like they are passionate about it. I ordered kadahi paneer and chicken curry and the food was fresh(most important thing) and had authentic taste. Thr guy working their seems to be very down to earth and is seeking for customer satisfaction and want to continue improving the food taste based on feedback. I really liked his attitude. I give 5 stars and will like to try their briyani next !

Twice I've visited here and twice have I been greeted with friendly staff and a clean, stylish atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the spicy butter chicken with garlic naan. Its quick and surprisingly well priced for the quality you get. They're open earlier than most other restaurants serving Indian cuisine. I'd definitely recommend stopping in here and grabbing a bite to eat!

Awesome place, clean and food is delicious! In addition, the friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service make this restaurant one of our favorites. The blend of herbs and spices used in various dishes are in perfect balance. A fusion of Indian, Nepali and Himalayan flavors...yummy! Best wishes

My fiance and I just moved to town and were looking for an Indian restaurant. Unfortunately due to COVID19 we weren't able to done-in, but the take-out was amazing! Extremely fresh chutney, samosas, naan and their paneer tikka and chicken tikka we're very tasty! We did order medium spiciness for our main disesbut it wasn't very spicy. Next time and we'll get hot which im sure will make it perfect.

We were in the mood for something new for dinner tonight and happened to find Rooh Bistro on google. What an excellent find! We love Indian food and Rooh Bistro more than delivered. In fact, it’s the best Indian food we have had in the DMV - and we have had a lot Indian food. The food is amazing and authentic. We ordered the meat sampler appetizer, the lettuce wraps, chicken Kadai, butter chicken, butter Naan, and roti - all outstanding and cooked perfectly. The portions are also very good. Service was on point. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the whole menu. Thank you, Rooh Bistro.
